Sharni Vinson is an Australian-American actress, dancer, born on July 22, 1983 in Sydney Australia. In 2001, Sharni Vinson was cast in two episodes in Australian Soap Opera Home and Away. Her role was selected to play the main character in the Australian soap opera Home and Away as her performance in this small role was so compelling that the casting agents requested her for the various parts. However, she auditioned for the role, but she wasn't chosen. However, in the same season, she played Cassie Turner which was the teen with a history of trouble with a foster family.
